At the temple - the meeting starts at 9.00am with a meditation period. There's no need to book, you can just turn up. You can also come later for the 10.00am sitting.
If you are joining on Zoom, the meeting starts at 10.00am (login from 9.45), with a 30 minute sitting meditation period.
Following this, there is a morning service which includes bows and the chanting of the Scripture of Great Wisdom and our Ancestral Line. You will need to be familiar with, or had an introduction to, our ceremonial if you are joining on Zoom.
If you are joining on Zoom, it will help you to have your own copy of the texts mentioned above. Files of these can be downloaded from the Throssel Hole Buddhist Abbey website here
After the service, we'll gather for a talk and opportunity to speak about practice matters. The morning usually ends around 11.30am.
